Quarantine Favorites: Movies

Looking for stuff to do, watch, or try while stuck at home?
I've been sharing some of my Quarantine Favorites lately: yummy recipes I've tried and want to try, bingeable TV shows, and addictive books. (I'm still working on this list.)
And today, it's movies! Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, and Amazon Prime have sooo many great movies at our disposal. Here are some of my favorites movie for all of your quarantine moods.
And like I did with my TV shows list, I starred one in each category that you HAVE to see if you could only pick one.
90s Classics
A no-brainer category. Bet you watched these movies when you were growing up in the 90s.
Netflix
The Craft*
Space Jam
Can't Hardly Wait
Groundhog Day
Drama and Romance
I'm not a straight up romcom gal; I like my romance with a little drama, heartbreak, or quirkiness.
Netflix
The Social Network
Silver Linings Playbook*
Her
Amazon Prime
Up in the Air
Mysteries and Thrillers
Really ALL of these movies are some of my favorites. If I could recommend only one category to watch everything, it would be this one.
Netflix
Train to Busan
Amazon Prime
Knives Out
The Handmaiden
Oldboy
Hulu
Parasite****** ALL THE STARS
Sci-Fi and Fantasy
Okay, most of these are based on books, but they make good movies too.

Blade Runner
Inception
Ex Machina*
Amazon Prime and Hulu

Fun and Games
When you need a laugh, these are great choices. Fun fact: I regularly throw quotes from The Birdcage around with my mom.

The Birdcage*
Amazon Prime
Clue
The Cabin in the Woods
Hulu
Zombieland
Best of Marvel
They may not be the "most important" movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but the ones I enjoyed most and would watch again and again. You'll find them on Disney+ and sometimes Netflix or Amazon Prime.
Iron Man
The Avengers
Captain America: Winter Soldier
Guardians of the Galaxy
Thor: Ragnarok
Best of Disney/Pixar
Some of my favorite Disney and Pixar movies of all time. (Don't @ me)
The Lion King
The Aristocats
