Goodbye, 2018

Whoops...it looks like I skipped out on lots of blog posts in November and December! Writing has been taking up a huge chunk of my time--as it should--and I've been enjoying the holidays in both Colorado and Florida. Now that my workload has calmed down just a bit, I wanted to take a look back on this whirlwind of a year, in one of my favorite formats: lists.
Favorite Books I Read (My goal was 24 books in my Goodreads Reading Challenge. I read 39!)
Poser: My Life in 23 Yoga Poses by Claire Dederer
Scrappy Little Nobody by Anna Kendrick
Sourdough by Robin Sloan
Best New Experiences (how's that for a vague category)
concert at Red Rocks (Kaleo!!)
DSLR photography (not technically new, but hadn't used a camera in years)
reaching out to potential clients through cold emails (SCARY. But it worked!)
Favorite Moments
horseback riding through Garden of the Gods
visiting family in Florida and North Carolina--and getting to see my baby niece again
quitting my job to be a full-time freelance writer
I haven't yet thought about my goals for 2019. I know I'll be visiting Florida again for wedding, family and friends will probably visit in the spring and fall, and I definitely want to do some traveling. Plus, I clearly need to up my reading goal for the 2019 Goodreads Reading Challenge.
What were your favorite moments of this past year? Your goals for 2019?
