Friday Faves

I'm very much in a spooky/magic/horror mood, according to the books I've been choosing recently (see below.) This weekend I'm going up into the mountains, to a quiet, picturesque little Colorado mining town...to take a haunted ghost tour on an old mining train.
YIKES.
Anyway, have some Friday favorites.
Anderson East Sings "All on My Mind" on Austin City Limits
The song alone is soulful and sultry, but the way he sings it? Major swoon.
His show at the Boulder Theater last month was still my all-time favorite...and I've been to a lot of concerts over the years.
By the Book: Reese Witherspoon
If I could be friends with one celebrity, Reese would definitely be in my top five. I love how genuine she is on her Instagram, her Draper James brand is adorable, she's a huge bookworm and has a reading club, and oh yeah, she's an incredible actress. This interview delves further into her favorite kinds of stories, where she gets book recommendations, and which three writers she'd invite to a dinner party.
If you're a frequent Amazon Prime shopper, you should definitely be using Amazon's clone site, AmazonSmile. A portion of every purchase made on AmazonSmile goes to a charity of your choosing. I can't remember the last time I used the regular Amazon site, and I change up my chosen nonprofit every once in awhile. (Currently it's The Nature Conservancy; past nonprofits were Alzheimer's Association and World Wildlife Fund.)
Currently reading:
The Hypnotist's Love Story by Liane Moriarty
Just finished:
Heart-Shaped Box by Joe Hill
The Rules of Magic by Alice Hoffman
